Q: Does Infoport™ or American Lending Solutions require any Special Equipment?
A: Infoport™ : By regulation, you must have a ‘fixed’ or ‘static’ IP address for your internet connection to access FCRA compliant data from any source via the Internet. We will be happy to assist you in obtaining one from your internet provider. Our Full-Service products require no special equipment or connections
Q: What Makes Your People Better?
A: We hire people exclusively who have previously worked in our industry. They are familiar with skip-tracing and asset recovery. This differs from other companies who hire clerical people that think success is giving timely updates. We judge success by hitting the target – not by passing notes back and forth.

Q: Does Infoport™ have any Minimum Fees?
A: Your sales representative will work hand-in-hand with you to design a program which will best fit your company’s needs. Depending on the package you select, there might be monthly minimums.
Q: How Does Your’ pricing Compare?
A: Infoport™ and American Lending Solutions offer quality products at reasonable prices. We are not the cheapest and we are not the most expensive. We think you will find that we offer the best deal on the market.
Q: What Do Your Other Services Cost?
A: American Lending Solutions has full-service products which range from as low as ten dollars to complex services that cost several hundred dollars. Many of our prices are negotiable based on the volume of accounts you submit. A sales consultant can evaluate your company’s requirements and help build a plan which best fits your needs.
Q: Do you require a Contract?
A: In some cases depending on the plan your company signs up for a contract might be required. The terms and conditions of the agreement can be discussed with your sales consultant.
Q: Can all my Employees share one Login?
A: By regulation, every individual accessing FCRA compliant data must have their own login identity in order to track access in the event of misuse of the provided information.
Q: Can I Resell the Data you Supply?
A: No. The data supplied to your company is for its’ own internal use for a pre-approved GLB purpose. Any resale of the Data would be considered a crime under the FCRA
Q: Can Infoport™ be used For Pre-Employment Screening?
A: Yes. If you are credentialed you can use Infoport™ to prescreen your employees. Remember that all State and Federal laws must be followed. Consult your labor attorney for any compliance questions you might have. For those companies that wish American Lending Solutions to conduct their pre-employment screening for them, there will be a per assignment charge.
Q: Can Infoport™ be Used For Credit Screening New Loan Applications?
A: Infoport™ has reports available to assist you in making buying decisions. These reports include OFAC and Red Flag which are required as of May 1st, 2009. It is a requirement that your company follow the FCRA and any other State and Federal regulations that govern your business.
Q: How Do I Input Assignments?
A: Infoport™ requires you to login using a Static IP address. For full-service products, you can assign using our web based portal, RDN, email, fax or telephone.
Q: How Long Does Infoport™ take to return Results?
A: Depending on the type of report you pull, results can populate in as little as five seconds!
Q: How Long Does Your Other Services Take to Complete, such as Skip-Tracing?
A: We set no time-limits on most of our services. Skip-Tracing services are moving targets. In some cases positive results can take a day… in others it might take months. You can rest assured though that we will not desert you until the job is completed!
Q: Can You Locate People and Collateral Anywhere in the United States?
A: Both Infoport™ and our Full-Service products are available in the entire United States. Some of our data reports are available for Canada and other countries
Q: How Does My Company Get Started?
A: In order to use Infoport™ your company needs to be credentialed. This is a simple process which can be initiated by downloading the forms from our website or contacting one of our sales associates. To use any of our other services, contact one of our trained customer service people and they will setup an account for you.
Q: What does it take to be Credentialed?
A: The Credentialing process includes verification of your business licenses, a site inspection and a background and credit check on the principal of the corporation. There is a charge for the credentialing process. Speak to your sales representative for exact terms and conditions.
Q: What If My Company Cannot Get Credentialed?
A: From time-to-time we find a company that for various reasons cannot be credentialed or wishes not to go through the process. This is no reflection on how we view a business or how we value a customer. For this reason we offer our full-service solutions which are available to any company with a valid GLB purpose
